Between users: Contact information (phone, email) is shared between residents and contractors only after a booking is confirmed.
Payment processing: Payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
API endpoints are protected with JWT authentication

5. Your Right to Delete Your Data
You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
Your user profile (name, email, phone, address)
All bookings and service requests
All messages sent and received
Contractor profiles, insurance documents, and license photos
Special offers and notifications
Push notification subscriptions
To delete your account:
In-app: Go to your Profile page and tap "Delete My Account"
By email: Send a request to and we will process your deletion within 48 hours
This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is removed immediately. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
7. Cookies
We use JWT tokens stored in your browser's local storage for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
